Gutsy chemistry : A solvothermal process has been developed for the controlled creation of interior space in TiO 2 intestines (either hollow (see TEM image) or partially filled) or spheres in the anatase polymorph. A morphological transformation from intestine to sphere is observed when the water content of the water/2‐propanol mixture is decreased.
