Attractive complexes : Hexagonal micropores similar to zeolites have been observed in mixed‐valence Pt II –Pt IV compounds with magnetic counteranions (see X‐ray crystal structure). The micropores contain 12 water molecules per molecular unit which can be desorbed by heating the complexes to 100 °C and re‐adsorbed by cooling to 20 °C without affecting the skeletal structure.
