It begins with a single InS 4 tetrahedron (blue), then, in the hierarchical structure of the [Cd 16 In 64 S 134 ] 44− ion, comes a supertetrahedron of these tetrahedra, a supertetrahedron of supertetrahedra (a super‐supertetrahedron, extra Cd atoms in white), and finally a supertetrahedron of super‐supertetrahedra. The yellow sphere marks a huge cavity and the Sierpinski tetrahedron the next level of the hierarchy. For more details see the Communication by O. M. Yaghi et al. on page 1819 ff.
