Deprotonation of the complex [{Ti(η 5 ‐C 5 Me 5 )(μ‐O)} 3 (μ 3 ‐CH)] with different alkali metal alkyl and amide reagents provides a method for the intercalation of alkali‐metal ions into layered organometallic titanium oxides (see picture). The process and the structures were analyzed by DFT calculations.
