A distorted triboratetrahedrane anion, 2 , is proposed as the transition state of the fluctuation of the skeletal bonds of triboracyclobutanide 1 , a two‐electron aromatic compound, B3LYP/6‐31G* computations support this suggestion (R=SiMe 3 , Dur=2,3,5,6‐tetramethylphenyl).
