A vanadium–boron distance of 1.971 Å characterizes the first classical bond between these two elements. The novel half‐sandwich complex 1 was obtained from [(OC) 5 CrBN(SiMe 3 ) 2 ] by photochemically induced intermetallic borylene transfer.
