Ambidextrous peptides : Novel mixed β‐peptides were synthesized from alternating C‐linked carbo‐β 3 ‐amino acid and β‐homoglycine residues. The peptides form unprecedented left‐handed 10/12 and 12/10 helices (see picture) in addition to the corresponding right‐handed helices.
