Odd compounds : The study of bimetallic complexes spanned by linear carbon chains was mainly restricted to even‐numbered chains. The fluorodesilylation of silylated propargylidynes now provides a range of C 3 ‐spanned heterobimetallic complexes based on Ru and either Mo or W (e.g. see picture).
