Non‐CsCl topologies for eight‐connected solid‐state materials have been observed for the first time in three networks based on lanthanide cations and 4,4′‐bipyridine‐ N , N ′‐dioxide ligands. The structure of the {[Yb(L) 4 ](CF 3 SO 3 ) 3 } ∞ network is depicted.
