A precursor for Cu/Ru mixed‐metal catalysts? This is one of the potential applications of the title cluster (structure of the Ru 20 Cu 6 Cl 2 framework shown below), which can be isolated as the n Bu 4 N + salt from the reaction of [(Ph 3 P) 2 N] 2 [Ru 10 H 2 (CO) 25 ] with n Bu 4 NOH/H 2 O,[Cu(MeCN) 4 ], and (Ph 3 P) 2 NCl.
