The largest submit of the carbon allotrope “graphyne” , title compound 1 , is also a potential precursor to circular [6]phenylene, antikekulene. Single and double CpCo‐catalyzed cycloisomerization provided the respective angular [3]‐ and [5]phenylenes. Their spectroscopic data indicate that they harbor superdelocalization.
