The nickel atoms are triply bridged in [Ni 2 L 9 ] 4+ (L NSF 2 NMe 2 ), in which for the first time a nitrogen atom of a NS bond acts as a bridging ligand. The structure of the Ni 2 unit with all the coordinating N atoms is shown on the right.
