The solubility of complexes is one decisive factor for their use as homogeneous catalysis in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO 2 ). Complexes with perfluoroalkyl‐substituted arylphosphane ligands (shown schematically on the right), which can be prepared by a straightforward and variable synthetic methodology, exhibit high solubility in scCO 2 in contrast to unsubstituted parent compounds.
