Strong electron‐deficient bonds with four equivalent copper( I ) centers as well as the carbon atom of the organic group are a feature of the thiolate sulfur atoms of the new cage [(CuCl) 12 (SR) 6 ] (R CH 2 CH 2 NH 3 ; structure on the right, Cl and R omitted). This is part of the polymeric complex [Cu 13 Cl 13 (SR) 6 ], which is accessible from cysteamine hydrochloride and copper( I ) chloride. • = Cu, ○ = S.
