A potential precursor to new gallophosphate materials . The Cubic Ga 4 P 4 O 12 unit common to several gallophosphate molecular sieves has now been prepared in a soluble, molecular form. On the right is shown the Ga 4 P 4 O 12 core of [ t BuGa(μ 3 ‐O 3 PPh)] 4 as confirmed by X‐ray crystallography.
