Hydrogenation of 1‐hexene is eight fimes faster with the rhodacarborane complex 1 than with [RhCl(PPh 3 ) 3 ]. The sulfur atom bound to the open face favors the interaction of the rhodium center with the more active B‐H vertices situated on this face.
