A formal [2 + 3]cycloaddition between [PP] and a diazomethyl anion affords the anionic, aromatic five‐membered ring [RCP 2 N 2 ] − (R = Me 3 Si) [Eq. (a); counterion Li + ]. This reaction is a rare example of the use of P 4 in organic synthesis.
