Tightly packed infinite zeolite‐like tubes with an inner diameter of 4.1 – 4.5 Å are formed by the novel double calixarene in the solid state (see schematic representation of the crystal structure on the right). In solution, the calixarene binds Ag 1 cations, both at the ends and inside the cylindrical cavity.
