Chair inversions and FSi migrations can explain why in solution the trisilacyclohexane anion 1 provides only one 19 F and one 29 Si NMR signal. The ion shows fluxional behavior in the crystal as well, as is confirmed by the 29 Si CP/MAS NMR spectrum at 298 K, which contains only one signal.
