32‐ and 34‐membered macrocyclic Schiff base type ligands with (N 2 S 2 ) 2 donor units are synthesized in a high‐yielding [2 + 2] condensation reaction. Coordination of these ligands to copper(I) results in double helical dicopper(I) complexes with a new figure‐of‐eight loop structure (see diagram on the right).
