Nearly nanometer thick fragments of the boy centered cubic arrangement (bcc) of the metallic components are found in the structure of the title compound. The network of compact columnar bcc fragments has such a wide mesh that though the internal surfaces of the microporous metal substructure (picture on the right, projection along b ) are completely covered by chalcogen atoms, small channels are still present in the structure.
