Al atoms are incorporated into tetrahedral Si sites in the microporous titanosilicate ETS‐10 in such a way that the product, ETAS‐10, does not have Al‐O‐Ti units. Put simply, the Al and Ti centers avoid each other. The scope of this phenomenon and its ramifications are discussed.
