The by‐products of the thermal ring‐opening polymerization of a six‐membered N 3 P 2 S ring were identified as 12‐, 18‐, 24‐, 30‐, and 36‐membered sulfur( VI )/nitrogen/phosphorus macrocycles. The 24‐membered macrocycle 1 is the largest inorganic ring system that has yet been characterized by X‐ray crystallography.
