The cyclophosphazene ring is the core of the phosphorus dendrimers reported here, which are prepared by alternate additions of diamino tentacles and N 3 P 3 Cl 5 flagstones. The dendrimer of the fifth generation contains 18 750 terminal PCl functions. The structure of the dendrimer of the first generation calculated by molecular modeling is shown on the right.
