Air‐ and moisture‐sensitive , yet thermally stable under an inert atmosphere, the diaryl germaneselone 2 is synthesized by deselenation of heterocycle 1 . The aryl substituents shield the GeSe bond and thus hinder oligomerization of the monomer 2 .
