The coordination in A and B are not the only modes possible when dialkynylbis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium complexes coordinate other metal complex fragments. The reaction of [Cp 2 Ti(CC t Bu) 2 ] with [Pt(C 2 H 4 )(PPh 3 ) 2 ] affords a dinuclear complex which has structure C in the solid state. Dynamic processes are evident for this complex in solution.
