Nearly D 3h symmetry, a planar Sn 3 N framework , almost symmetrical SnClSn bridges and extremely short SnN bonds‐these are the features of the skeleton of (ClMe 2 Sn) 3 N 1 . This unusual structure has been characterized by NMR spectroscopy, quantum chemical calculations, and X‐ray structural analysis. No indications of SnN (dp)π bond participation were found.
