The agostic interaction between the alkenyl CH groups and the Zr centers is the most notable feature of the dinuclear complex 1 , which is formed from the alkyne complex [Cp 2 Zr(thf)(Me 3 SiCCSiMe 3 )] upon thermal loss of THF. In this transformation a H atom is transferred from the Cp ligand to the alkyne ligand.
