A reservoir of 9 electrons and 27 protons , complex 1 has 8±1 quasi‐equivalent redox centers. It is prepared from [CpFe(η 6 ‐mesitylene)] + by nonaallylation of the three methyl substituents, demetalation, conversion into the corresponding nonaol, and phasetransfer‐catalyzed reaction with [CpFe(FC 6 H 4 Me)].
