The instability and tendency to disproportionate of organometallic compounds of Group 13 metal‐d‐metal complexes were countered by adjusting the donor/acceptor properties of the metal centers. Now nothing prevents the use of this class of compounds in layering processes or the development of its chemistry. A large number of alanes, gallanes, and indanes related to 1 (M Fe, L Cp, n 2) that are volatile without decomposition were prepared.
