The C 4 P 4 skeleton is maintained when tetra‐ tert ‐butyltetraphosphacubane is successively functionalized at the phosphorus centers. Its reactions with nonacarbonyldiiron (→ 1), tetrachloro‐ o ‐benzoquinone (→ 2 ), selenium (→ 3 ), and bis(trimethylsilyl)peroxide (→ 4 ) can be taken as examples.
