The construction of a molecular rotor from clusters is the fascinating goal which is now a step closer to realization with the synthesis of the title compound 1 . The cation of 1 has an M 25 metal framework, composed of two vertex‐sharing, Au‐centered icosahedra (picture right). Isn't this structure a snapshot of a rotor in motion?
