Torand–torand interactions and a network of hydrogen bonds appear to stabilize the supramolecular aggregate [ 1 · Li 2 (H 2 O) 3 ] 2+ (for ligand 1 , see preceding communication). This complex, viewed here from the top with the n ‐butyl groups omitted, occurs as dimer of two 1:1 lithium–torand complexes. One of the three water molecules bridges the two “hydrated” lithium ions. The structure suggests that extended chains of stacked torands can be synthesized. • = N
