The AsSi compound 1 is surprisingly easily accessible from the lithiated arsanylfluorosilane 2 . Tellurium reacts with 1 to give the three‐membered ring compound 3 , and with benzophenone the [2 + 2]‐cycloadduct 4 is obtained. Since under drastic conditions (160°C, 10 h) 4 decomposes into intermediate Is 2 SiO and an arsaalkene, arsasilenes offer a new route to arsaalkenes. Is = 2,4,6‐ i Pr 3 C 6 H 2 .
