A μ 3 ‐hydrido‐ and three μ 3 ‐sulfido ligands cap the hexanuclear metal array of the cluster anion 1 “below” and “above” the Ru 6 ‐triangular surface. This highly symmetric, aesthetically stimulating complex 1 is formed upon react ion of [Ru 3 (CO) 12 ] and tetramethylthiourea under pressure and can be precipitated as the tetramethylformamidinium salt from dichloromethane.
