Mono‐ and disubstituted, nonstabilized methylenetriphenylphosphoranes 1 can be converted by transylidation with the monochlorophosphane 2 into the kinetically more stable phosphaalkenes 4 . Probable intermediates in every case are the betaines 3 . Aryl 2,4,6‐tri‐ tert ‐butylphenyl.
