Communication: Polycrystalline pressed samples of β‐(BEDT‐TTF) 2 I 3 exhibit bulk superconductivity , zero resistivity being observed at 3.2 K (see figure) a transition temperature which is surprisingly higher than that observed for single crystals of the same compound.
