The first borole complexes and, at the same time, the first triple‐decker complexes of rhenium and iridium were obtained by ring‐ligand transfers of 1 or 2 via triple‐decker intermediates such as 3 to give complexes such as 4 . Thus, in addition to the earlier postulated monofacial bridging, bifacial bridging is possible in such transfers.
