An acentric coordination of the trihydro(tetramethylpyrrolyl) borato ligand in 1 is effected by the “small” nitrogen atom. Like the isosteric decamethylferrocene, 1 is disordered by shifting and rotation of the C 5 axis in the crystal. The novel ligand of 1 could be incorporated at the Fe center of the analogous “boron‐free” complex with Me 2 S·BH 3 .
