Clear indications of the formation of diphosphanediyl t BuPin the thermal decomposition of 1 are the products 2 and 3 as well as those of trapping reactions with 2,3‐dimethyl‐1,3‐butadiene and cyclohexene 4/5 and 6 , respectively.
