The isolobal analogy between the fragments CR, P, and d 5 ‐ML 5 suggested the reaction of t BuCP with the Mo complex 1 . Indeed, this reaction gave the metathesis product 2 . The W complex 3 reacted with t BuCP to give an adduct 4 , which can be regarded as an Fe(CO) 3 ‐stabilized 1‐phospha‐3‐tungstacyclobutadiene.
