An angle of 176.6° at the As atom is found for 1 , and X‐ray studies show that the MnAsMn unit in 2 is also linear. 1 and 2 are thus the first compounds in which an element of the fifth main group exhibits a linear μ 2 ‐coordination; the arrangement of the Mn ligands in 1 is in agreement with the allene‐like formulation MnAsMn.
