A remarkable coordination of a water molecule is the unique feature of the octahedral title compound 1 . H 2 O is bound primarily to Rh III and secondarily by two stabilizing hydrogen bonds to the O atoms of the ligand. The two H atoms occupy three positions and form a third hydrogen bond to an F atom of PF   6 ⊖ .
