A puckered five‐membered ring exhibiting pyramidal coordination at the P atom characterizes the title compounds 2 (R = Me, Et, i Pr). The new C 2 B 2 P heterocycles can be obtained in good yields from the corresponding ethene derivatives 1 and C 6 H 5 PLi 2 .
