Three dioxetane rings coupled via two spiro carbon atoms —this astonishing framework is found in the trisdioxetane 2 . It is formed in the photooxidation of the cumulene 1 in an Ar/O 2 matrix at 10 K. Upon irradiation with UV‐light, 2 decomposes into acetone and CO 2 .
