The inverse sandwich complex 1 with η 6 ‐coordination of the arene molecule is formed on reaction of AsBr 3 and C 6 Et 6 , in the molar ratio 2:1. The stability of the adduct is presumably due to an interplay of weak charge transfer and van‐der‐Waals interactions.
