cyclo ‐ P   5 ⊖, like C 5 H   5 ⊖, can function as a 6π‐electron‐donor in sandwich complexes : Reaction of [(η 5 ‐C 5 Me 5 )Fe(CO) 2 ] 2 and P 4 affords 1 , which has been characterized by NMR and mass spectroscopy. It is possible that cyclo ‐P   5 ⊖is formed from P   3 ⊖and P 2 .
