The title compounds 1 represent a new class of nonamphiphilic compounds for the production of ultrathin layers (< 2 nm) . It is possible with them to specify by means of external parameters the orientation of the molecules in the plane of the monomolecular layers. This is an important prerequisite for the application such systems as optical and electro‐optical components in thin layer technology.
