Eighteen different Sb‐I distances in the band‐like polymeric anion of the prismforming red salt [(Me 2 N) 3 C 3 ][Sb 3 I 10 ] enable transients between coordination polyhedra to be studied in one compund. Inferences can also be made on the influence of the lone pair on the geometry as a function of the coordination number.
