A dramatic high‐field shift of an 1 H‐NMR signal characterizes the agostic Mo↼HC interaction in the isopropylmolybdenum complex 2 . The bright yellow compound is accessible in 65% yield by reaction of the binuclear molybdenum complex 1 with isopropylmagnesium chloride at −78°C in ether.
